Choose a matching wheel and driver
If you’re pairing the motor with a 34 mm or 43 mm N20 wheel, check that the wheel hub matches the shape and dimensions of the output shaft. Leave enough clearance between the tyre and the chassis so the wheel can spin freely. Actual motor speed depends on the supply voltage and the load on the shaft.
For an Arduino or ESP32 robot, control the motor through a separate DC motor driver. Select a driver that supports a 6V motor supply and can handle the motor’s stall current.
Common applications
- Mini two-wheel-drive robot cars
- Line follower and obstacle avoidance robots
- School, college and university STEM projects
- Compact motorised mechanisms and prototypes
