TP5000 Lithium Battery Charging
- The TP5000 Battery Charging Module with support for Lithium Ion and Lithium Phosphate Batteries, and works with 3.6V as well as 4.2V Battery, the default current charging on this module is 1A
- RED led indicates that the battery is charging, and green indicates the the battery is fully charg.
- The efficiency is higher than the linear charging circuit and heat is also much smaller. In the constant current full charge to maintain 1A. With over heating , overheating will automatically reduce the current to prevent burnout ,No additional heat dissipation and reducing the impact of heat on the charging current
- To charge, the lithium ion phosphate battery, one should connect the solder pads with F label. The TP5000 Battery Charging Module has a switching regulator integrat, which reduces the heat produced as compare to linear regulators. It also has a blank pad on the bottom side to dissipate the heat, the user can fix heat sink there, in case of output current need is more than 1A.
